Great at what you do.
Too busy to shout about it.
You build the homes, design the interiors, run the beautiful places to stay and make the things that go into them. Shouting about it? That’s usually the job that slips.
I spent 15 years at the Berkeley Group, most recently as Head of Marketing, launching developments and building brands in the UK and internationally. Second Chair brings that same big-developer marketing experience to support smaller businesses in property, construction, interiors and premium accommodation - without the big-developer budget. Big-picture thinking. Hands-on delivery. No full-time hire required.
Developments I've worked on:
London Dock, Wapping · One Blackfriars, Blackfriars · Imperial Wharf, Fulham · Camden Goods Yard, Camden · The Green Quarter, Southall · Royal Exchange, Kingston · Sutton Garden Square, Sutton · Beaufort Park, Colindale · and more across London
Places, spaces and the people behind them.
WHO I WORK WITH
Different businesses, same story: great work that deserves to be seen by the right clients.
Builders & construction
Developers
Interiors & design
Premium & serviced accommodation
Specialist manufacturers
Years of brilliant projects, mostly won by word of mouth – and hardly any of it online.
Schemes with a real story to tell – from the first CGI to the last home sold.
A portfolio full of beautiful work that should be bringing in more of the right enquiries.
Gorgeous places to stay that deserve more direct bookings – and less reliance on the platforms.
Products made with real craft and expertise, that need marketing to match.
Sound familiar?
Good marketing, without the big team.
Whether it’s a one-off launch or ongoing support, I’ll fit around what your business actually needs.
ABOUT SECOND CHAIR

Someone who gets it.
And gets on with it.
I've spent nearly two decades in property marketing, turning big ideas into campaigns, launches and projects that actually happen. Usually with a few competing priorities and demanding deadlines thrown in for good measure.
I'm used to figuring things out. I ask questions. I spot gaps. I join dots. And I'm not afraid to chase the things that need chasing (politely, of course).
I love the thinking behind good marketing, but I'm just as happy rolling up my sleeves and making it happen. Because a great idea is only great if someone does something with it.
Enough about me. What about you?
Whether you've got a specific project in mind, need a hand with your marketing or just have a feeling you could be doing more with it, I'd love to hear about it.
Tell me a little about your business and what you're looking for. No polished brief required.
